On the 1st of November, AMSOL launched the ‘Safety RESET’ campaign which served as an opportunity to stop, rethink and refocus our commitment to safety – and to engage with one another about what we can do better or differently to work and live safer. At its core, this supports AMSOL’s approach to SHEQ and continuous improvement.

As part of the campaign, which was driven by CEO Dan Ngakane, we invited clients and companies in our supply chain to join us as we considered different discussion topics that support our collective ‘SAFETY’.  Together with several other interventions focused on improving a safety mindset across our vessels, sites and offices we prioritized keeping this important topic top of mind every day.

In support of the campaign and to ensure increased awareness of safety measures as we head into the festive season, earlier this week a safety stand down took place across the business. The pause in operations allowed employees to come together to share their learnings and pledge their commitment to safety.
