STRENGTHENING MARITIME PARTNERSHIPS ACROSS AFRICA

In early 2025, AMSOL had the opportunity to engage with the maritime and energy sectors through active participation in key industry events across the region.

At Maritime Week Africa in Mauritius, AMSOL engaged with bunkering stakeholders on critical sectoral developments. Chief Commercial Officer Graham Dreyden joined a panel discussion dealing with licensing, operational efficiency, and environmental compliance, highlighting AMSOL’s expertise in safe and efficient fuel transfers.

In Cape Town, AMSOL supported the Southern Africa Oil & Gas Conference, where Offshore Marine Services Executive Pumla Makubalo, Terminals Executive Pierre Lombard, and Marine Operations Manager Siphokazi Mbaba connected with government and industry leaders to explore strategies for regional energy sector growth.

As Platinum Sponsor of the African Harbour Masters Committee Conference, AMSOL contributed to discussions on port operations and long-term sustainability in early April in Cape Town with stakeholders from across Africa. At ARDA Week 2025, AMSOL representatives participated in sessions focused on the future of fuel logistics and transportation, and took advantage of the excellent networking events arranged by the African Refiners & Distributors Association.

At the 2025 Future Maritime Careers &Industry Trends Conference 2025 held in Cape Town in April, AMSOL’S HR Executive Nceba Mfini joined the Transport Education & Training Authority and other industry stakeholders in discussing the opportunities and challenges in the maritime talent pipeline, presenting his vision for a collaborative solution.
