AMSOL IN SOUTH AFRICA MAINTAINS B-BBEE LEVEL 2
At AMSOL, we understand the importance of building a sustainable business and investing locally in each area of operation by ensuring that we have a diverse and inclusive workforce, a robust supply chain and partnerships which aim to improve the communities in which we work. In South Africa this is no different. Our continued commitment to transformation underpins our company’s Mission and we are therefore pleased to have maintained our Level 2 Contributor Status to Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment, verified annually against the requirements of the Maritime Transport & Services Sub-Sector Codes.

COLLABORATION UNLOCKS ECONOMIC POTENTIAL
AMSOL has partnered with the South African International Maritime Institute (SAIMI) to bring the African Maritime Leadership Conference to Gqeberha, South Africa later this month.

AN ESSENTIAL LINK IN FUEL SUPPLY
Utilising a fleet of four product tankers and two bunker barges, AMSOL conducts bunker deliveries to vessels in port and offshore on behalf of clients in the Energy sector. More than 370 000 tonnes of marine fuel was delivered safely in 2022. A strong focus on safety and environmental protection as well as in-depth technical knowledge on international standards and compliance ensures that we deliver a risk-managed solution. AMSOL also conducts Ship-to Ship (STS) cargo transfers of petroleum products, chemicals and gas at the ports of Richards Bay, Ngqura, Cape Town and offshore Angola.

FUTURE FIT FOR THE OFFSHORE OIL & GAS SECTOR
With a track record of providing offshore marine support to the Energy sector across Africa, AMSOL’s experience in meeting the specialist requirements of Clients during these typically high-risk projects is extensive. Our involvement in diverse operations means that skilled AMSOL personnel are sought after for specialist and complex projects – and each job is an opportunity to ensure that seafarers and offshore personnel build important experience.
