FUELING THE OCEAN ECONOMY
South Africa is situated on one of the busiest international sea routes and is well positioned to service vessels passing the coast. Accurate and efficient marine fuel supply is a core market demand which AMSOL effectively supplies on behalf of its Oil Industry clients; managing the transfer of fuel between vessels in port, inshore or offshore.
SUPPORTING A DIVERSE SUPPLY CHAIN
AMSOL is contracted to provide a turnkey offshore terminal management service to client SAPREF in Durban, where the company provides a fleet of vessels, specialist personnel and comprehensive marine and terminal management services in support of this operation.
AMSOL NAMIBIA MAKING AN IMPACT!
AMSOL Namibia recently awarded learnerships to three residents of Lüderitz in support of the company’s offshore supply and support operations for Debmarine Namibia. Ainna David, Devin Gaoeb and Frederika Isak will complete their statutory training courses during July before starting their training onboard.
SUCCESSFUL SUBSEA HOSE REPLACEMENT
At AMSOL, our supply chain is considered an extension of our business and service providers are critical stakeholders within our value chain.
VERSATILE MARINE FENDER SOLUTION
Following a recent investment in additional equipment, marine solutions company AMSOL builds on its operational experience in offshore bunker delivery, ship-to-ship transfers as well as marine emergency response to offer clients the convenient option of a turnkey marine fender hire, transport and logistics service across South Africa ports.
EFFICIENT DRYDOCKING
Regular planned maintenance is key to providing an effective technical service to vessel management clients. During March, the Environmental Research Vessel ‘Algoa’, which is managed by AMSOL on behalf of the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment, underwent statutory drydocking at the Robinson Drydock in the V&A Waterfront.
